Paul doesn’t believe technology is the enemy, but our relationship with it does need some work. With a background in law enforcement, intelligence, and counter-terrorism, and later finding a passion for Cybercrime and Fraud, he now works as the Fraud and Cybercrime Prevention Manager for UK Finance, within the Dedicated Card and Payment Crime Unit (DCPCU).
Having recently appeared on BBC Crimewatch Live, Rip off Britain, and BBC Radio 1xtra, Paul applies behavioral and psychological principles to the core of his work in order to maximize impact to prevent fraud and cybercrime across strategy, innovation and education.
An original founder of The Mallett Group, Marc brings deep knowledge and experience in partnership strategy, co-brand credit cards, business development as a service, and loyalty programs across the airline, hospitality, and retail sectors.
A trained and certified psychotherapist, Marc believes that loyalty marketing and customer relationship development are an extension of the psychology of changing behavior and leverages his training and insights to identify and create lasting customer partnerships.
Peter is a former UK CID officer who went on to build his reputation disrupting organized claims fraud for the insurance industry, Peter now works freelance across all fraud and, in particular, organized cyber fraud with clients across retail, banking, insurance, technology, and the private sector.
Peter has produced the cybercrime triangle theory which is increasingly being recognized and used in the UK and beyond. He provides consultancy, investigation & training and has been featured on BBC TV’s Fraud Squad.
Brett Johnson was a notorious Social Engineer, Hacker, and Identity Thief. After serving time in prison for these crimes, he turned his attention to stopping fraudsters. He is now one of the most noted personalities in fraud prevention and helps to stop fraudsters as Arkose Labs’s Chief Criminal Officer.
Alexander has 15 years of fraud-related experience and is the owner of Dispute Defense Consulting. For nearly a decade, Alexander operated as a fraudster. During that time, he authored sophisticated methods, targeting banks, merchants, and more. In 2017, following the birth of his daughter, Alexander abandoned the life of crime and joined the ranks of fraud prevention. In 2020, Alexander founded Dispute Defense Consulting and now consults with companies throughout the marketplace regarding the various aspects of fraud prevention.
An entrepreneur, a risk-taker, and a recruiter at heart with a passion for bringing people together. Hadie noticed a need for networking in the Gift Card industry and created The Gift Club, a unique digital platform enabling growth, brand awareness, and partnerships.
She recently launched the community’s newest platform, The Hub, in November 2021, which has been created to allow the people who work in the Gift Card, Loyalty, and Rewards industry a central and safe place to share, meet, learn, and do business, globally.
