Large cyberattacks on companies, organizations, and governments, ever-increasing in size, and the ramifications increase as well. Fraud can bring companies and countries to a screeching halt.
The pandemic has pushed our world even more into cyberspace, creating opportunities for restaurants and retail, as travel simmered. Attacks on accounts, data breaches, phishing through various platforms, mobile fraud, bot attacks; all on the rise.
70% of cyberattacks go unnoticed, it can take up to 30 weeks to spot a data breach, management is still reluctant to recognize loyalty fraud as worthy to keep an eye on or invest in preventing.
With roughly $48 trillion on unspent points globally*, and high levels of program participation (more than 75% of adults in the USA alone participate in loyalty programs varying from hotels, retail, and credit cards**), low hanging fruit is ripe for the picking.
We need to work together. In the industry, and within organizations. By sharing the trends we see, steps we take, to help everyone understand that damage done by fraud reaches further than a single department. Breach the vacuum and involve your IT, Marketing, Sales, Fraud, Payments, PR, and Management.
During this conference, the quickly evolving fraud methods, new account takeovers, and the network the fraudsters have were touched upon. Along with new privacy laws, how communication needs to be clear, and wonderful product pitches in our Lions’ Den, which was won by Bayonet.

Congratulations to the winner of Best Product: Bayonet!
The LSA Lions’ Den is the place to see some of the latest solutions to enable Loyalty Programs to be more secure from Fraud, Data Breaches, and Policy Abuse.
The fast-paced session has a few innovative companies pitching their Loyalty Fraud-related solutions (whether this is a product, service, or even just an idea) for 5 minutes each to our esteemed panel of “Lions” (judges), all of whom have extensive Loyalty or Fraud experience. The pitching companies then face 5 minutes of questioning by the Lions. At the end of the pitches and questions, the Lions take a little time to deliberate before choosing the Best Product of the day.
While we wait on the judges the audience votes for their Best Pitch (most entertaining) choice.
All participants are applicable to do a Solutions Showcase with us, going more in-depth on their product or service, the winner will get this session free of charge!
